About the event
The African stage is the third leg of the WR Women's Chess Tour 2026 global knockout circuit. The tour spans four continents and carries a total prize fund of $200,000.
Results from all legs contribute to the overall circuit standings. Top performers across all five legs qualify for the Grand Final in Germany later in 2026, which carries a prize fund of $120,000.
